Manager, Medical Communications – eCOA

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation and implementation of scientific communication strategies that align with Clario’s eCOA business goals and establish market leadership.

• Produce, edit, review, and oversee scientific publications, white papers, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, capabilities materials, and additional scientific resources.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, Clinical Science, and Executive Leadership teams to ensure that scientific messaging is consistent and impactful.

• Act as the main point of contact between eCOA Science and commercial, medical, and executive stakeholders.

• Create thought leadership content that showcases Clario’s expertise in eCOA, Clinical Outcome Assessments, and innovations in clinical trials.

• Assist with scientific research initiatives and publication strategies.

• Perform clinical and scientific research activities for publications, presentations, posters, conference abstracts, and external communications.

• Coordinate eCOA Science event strategies in collaboration with marketing and corporate events teams.

• Convert complex scientific, operational, and performance data into actionable business insights and data-driven narratives.

• Evaluate key performance indicators and marketing metrics, presenting findings to leadership through compelling storytelling and executive-level communications.

• Identify and pursue opportunities for enhancing scientific communications, thought leadership content, and market presence.

• Support social media and external communication efforts related to eCOA Science thought leadership.

• Establish and implement communication processes, best practices, and workflows for the eCOA Science team.

• Lead and contribute to ad hoc projects focused on knowledge dissemination, scientific awareness, and collaboration across functions.

• Present scientific findings, communication strategies, and business insights to senior leadership and stakeholder groups.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A Master's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Clinical Research, Healthcare, Psychology, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.

• 2 to 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical research, healthcare, CRO, or similar life sciences settings.

• Experience in the eCOA, Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA), patient-centered research, or clinical technology domain is highly preferred.

• Proven experience in developing scientific publications, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, white papers, or other forms of scientific communication.

• Strong grasp of clinical trial methodologies, clinical research processes, and the significance of eCOA in drug development.

• Experience in supporting marketing campaigns, sales enablement projects, and scientific messaging initiatives.

• Capability to analyze performance metrics and effectively communicate findings to senior leadership audiences.

• Exceptional scientific writing, editing, proofreading, and content development skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the skill to customize messages for scientific, commercial, and executive audiences.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

• Strong business insight and understanding of global healthcare and clinical research settings.

• Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams.
