This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the designated country or market, focusing on the local technology ecosystem, business landscape, key software sectors, founders, investors, advisors, associations, and pertinent industry networks.
• Identify B2B software firms that align with CSI’s acquisition criteria, which includes vertical market software companies, enterprise software vendors, and other product-driven technology firms.
• Perform extensive market research across priority MENA nations and selected sectors, involving vertical market mapping, competitive landscape analysis, software category assessments, founder/company research, and the identification of market leaders, emerging entities, and potential acquisition candidates.
• Keep precise records of sourcing activities, outreach progression, target qualification, relationship status, and movements within the deal pipeline.
• Generate regular reports, dashboards, and strategic updates for the leadership team.
• Offer country-specific insights, market updates, company lists, and ecosystem intelligence to bolster Boson Portfolio’s broader MENA expansion strategy.
• Assist with daily sourcing operations, including database creation, contact research, outreach tracking, meeting coordination, preparation of company profiles, and follow-up management.
• Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned.
• 5–7+ years of relevant experience, ideally including at least five years at a top-tier management consulting firm, private equity, principal investment firm, or investment banking analyst program.
• Previous experience in a business development or market-facing role, showcasing the ability to generate leads, foster relationships, and maintain a sustainable pipeline.
• Established industry network in the country of residence/coverage, including connections with founders, business owners, executives, advisors, investors, or other relevant ecosystem participants.
• Sound understanding of the MENA business and technology environment, with the capability to identify pertinent markets, sectors, and acquisition prospects.
• Strong academic background with an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline (PMP, MBA, CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or similar qualifications are considered advantageous but not mandatory).
• Capacity to establish credibility with senior business executives.
• Demonstrated research, analytical, market mapping, and competitive mapping abilities.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and limited supervision; able to proactively identify opportunities to utilize skill set.
• Capable of working independently while seeking guidance and learning/development opportunities from colleagues.
• Familiarity with CRM tools, pipeline tracking, dashboards, and reporting is regarded as beneficial.
• Experience in financial analysis, modeling, diligence, or transaction execution is seen as an advantage but is not essential.
