This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of and oversee site distribution planning efforts to ensure that warehouse networks are strategically positioned to meet installation timelines and site readiness criteria.
• Convert inbound supply, supplier limitations, and inventory signals into implementable warehouse positioning strategies (SKU mix, volume, and timing).
• Collaborate with Inventory Operations to guarantee that materials received and stored can be efficiently staged, kitted, and transformed into buildable outputs.
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to synchronize staging priorities, kitting needs, and outbound readiness.
• Establish and manage warehouse release strategies to sites, ensuring that deliveries are appropriately sequenced and in line with installation milestones.
• Work in conjunction with Transportation teams to synchronize shipment schedules, mode selection, and routing with warehouse release plans.
• Identify supply chain risks and challenges, such as material shortages, incomplete mixes, inventory discrepancies across warehouses, and misalignment with site schedules, and drive resolution or escalate issues as necessary.
• Provide structured updates on site readiness, availability of buildable materials, and warehouse output metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
• Foster continuous improvement in distribution planning processes to ensure scalable and dependable execution throughout warehouse networks and project sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution planning, or warehouse-related positions.
• At least 2 years of management experience in Operations, Logistics, or a warehouse setting.
• Proficient understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations, material staging, kitting, distribution processes, and transportation planning dependencies.
• Experience utilizing ERP, WMS, or planning tools to manage inventory flow and execution.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional processes without direct oversight of all execution teams.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple workstreams concurrently.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence across various functions.
