This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead the development and execution of the content strategy and planning for the conference program.
• Collaborate with the Show Director and Live Content leadership to ensure alignment on positioning and target audiences.
• Oversee the integration and evolution of the conference program within AVIXA/InfoComm.
• Manage the ecosystem of speakers and content partners, including their recruitment and oversight.
• Utilize industry insights and audience research to enhance topics and messaging.
• Establish and manage content advisory groups as necessary.
• Track and analyze content performance, translating findings into actionable improvements.
• Provide leadership in content development to enhance attendee experience and sponsorship alignment.
• Act as a strategic content advisor to stakeholders.
• Support initiatives that drive growth through content-led supplemental editorial projects.
• Collaborate with Event Operations to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs.
• Serve as the primary contact responsible for the status of conference program content.
• Represent the organization at industry events on an external basis.
• At least 5 years of experience in B2B conference or program management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs through influence, decisive decision-making, and stakeholder alignment.
• Strong strategic and critical thinking abilities.
• Existing knowledge or capacity to develop expertise in the AV market.
• Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
• Well-honed business acumen.
• Professional adaptability and resilience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Comfort with budget management, basic financial tracking, and vendor oversight.
• Experience in a technology-related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Advanced proficiency in Zoom and the Microsoft Office Suite.
