Manager, Learning and Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to evaluate training requirements, create and develop suitable content, and implement effective learning solutions.

• Oversee the coordination and execution of role-specific onboarding for Precision for Medicine, including scheduling and tracking as necessary.

• Create and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs that adhere to adult learning principles.

• Act as the primary point of contact for training inquiries and offer guidance on existing tools, templates, and resources.

• Manage and support the learning platforms and systems utilized by the Learning & Development function.

• Ensure accurate training documentation, records, and reporting comply with regulatory standards.

• Work in partnership with functional leadership to create and uphold role-based curricula by function, including documented annual reviews of curricula and training hour requirements, making updates as regulations, organizational needs, or role expectations change.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, postgraduate degree, or equivalent experience in a scientific or healthcare field.

• A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in clinical trials within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO sectors and/or healthcare environments, with at least 4 years in roles directly related to clinical trial execution that support delivery teams in training and development.

• Proficient in learning development platforms.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong writing and recordkeeping skills.

• Capability to plan and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

• Proven ability to foster positive working relationships with individuals and teams, both internally and externally.

• Fundamental understanding of medical terminology and clinical trial processes in relation to the execution of a clinical development plan.

• In-depth knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines pertaining to clinical trial management.
