Manager, IT Productivity – Collaboration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Lead SailPoint’s internal Business Applications team focused on Productivity & Collaboration.

• Shift the role from routine administration to a position of strategic leadership.

• Take charge of the roadmap and management of platforms including Atlassian, Slack, Asana, Lucid, and SharePoint.

• Supervise, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for two application administrators.

• Foster vendor relationships and manage vendor renewals.

• Create and uphold a 12-month strategic plan that emphasizes AI integration and security compliance.

• Serve as the technical authority for the Atlassian environment, designing scalable workflows.

• Oversee SaaS configurations, license usage, and total cost of ownership.

• Establish operational metrics and report on ticket resolution, capacity planning, and project delivery SLAs.

• Complete onboarding, stakeholder and vendor discovery meetings, along with an Atlassian architecture audit in the first 30 days.

• Present findings and recommendations for Atlassian and draft the AI and Security roadmap during days 31–60.

• Publish the strategic roadmap, initiate an operational metrics dashboard, and kick off an Atlassian optimization project in days 61–90.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of extensive, architect-level experience with the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.

• Demonstrated experience in a managerial or team lead role.

• Proven history of successfully mentoring technical direct reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable work experience.

• Ability to convert complex business requirements into technical solutions.

• Familiarity with APIs and scripting languages like JavaScript and Python is highly advantageous.

• Strong foundation in agile development processes and leading continuous delivery models.

• Executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.

• Proficient in negotiating with vendors and promoting cross-departmental adoption of new tools.
