This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Acts as the direct Line Manager for members of the IG Forecasting team.
• Guides the comprehensive development, delivery, and upkeep of forecasting tools, processes, and outputs.
• Monitors and tracks FTE resourcing along with team performance reports.
• Analyzes operational project data in relation to significant financial metrics.
• Prepares and delivers financial reports and analyses.
• Maintains financial forecasts at the portfolio level.
• Responsible for fostering strong relationships with IG Planning, Clinical Payments, Project Management, and Site Activation to guarantee accurate, complete, and timely delivery of IG Forecasts.
• Leads the creation and upkeep of processes, policies, SOPs, and related documents concerning IG Forecasts.
• Oversees a team of IG Forecasting Analysts collaborating with Project Management to establish monthly invoicing and accruals.
• Manages vendor relationships and licensing strategies, in conjunction with IG Planning, regarding IG Forecasting tools.
• Trains and mentors IG Forecasting team members on communication lines, relevant tools, Working Instructions, preferred processes, and SOPs.
• Provides expert advice in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
• Ensures the accuracy and completeness of all IG Forecasting task tracking.
• Assists other departments in leading or participating in departmental initiatives and additional training when necessary (i.e. IG Planning, Clinical Payments, Site Contracts).
• Collaborates with IG Planning and Clinical Payments to enhance departmental tools and processes associated with IG Forecasting.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in forecasting Investigator Grants.
• Demonstrated experience managing teams in the areas of Investigator Grants, Payments, or related fields.
• Proficient in resource planning, budget development and management, financial forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of the biopharmaceutical/CRO industry and applicable local regulatory requirements.
• A background in Clinical Research is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• High level of organizational, analytical, and team management skills.
