This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversees a team of industrial engineers tasked with creating and executing the fundamental components of a successful industrial engineering program: labor and productivity budgeting, analysis and review, benchmarking, position control, and improvement initiatives at the cost center level.
• Utilizes engineering, data analysis, statistical techniques, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, change management, and project management skills to implement changes that propel the organization towards its annual enterprise objectives.
• Partners with leadership to design, execute, and sustain the network management engineering program, concentrating on core department services such as productivity reporting and analysis, labor budget setting, position control, and continuous variance analysis and reporting.
• Conducts thorough evaluations of the key outputs generated by the department to ensure their accuracy and usability.
• Manages and organizes a team of management engineers across the various facets of the department's core services.
• Offers direct feedback and mentorship to individuals who are less experienced in management engineering or the healthcare sector.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships with key stakeholders within the network to understand and provide necessary support in critical areas related to management engineering.
• Delivers complex analytical guidance and support to senior management and key project stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making through various analyses.
• Performs assessments efficiently to grasp the current state of processes, gather and analyze pertinent data, identify opportunities for improvement, eliminate waste, and establish a clear plan of action.
• Ensures the effective deployment, use, and optimization of the essential labor/productivity system.
• Develops and supervises the creation of informational and training resources for diverse network stakeholders and leaders.
• Master’s Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Information & Computer Science, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• 5 years of professional or related experience in enhancing operations and performing analytical reviews with recommendations.
• 3 years of direct supervisory experience.
• Proficient in project management principles, with excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in continuous improvement tools, including but not limited to process mapping, process observation, root cause analysis (FMEA), value stream mapping, Pareto and statistical charts, and the 5 Whys technique.
• Expert level in MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, Visio).
• Familiar with at least one statistical analysis software (Minitab, SAS).
• Understands and implements financial analytics in current projects.
• ICGB - Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - International Association for Six Sigma Certification required upon hire.
