Manager, Indirect Spend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Oversee the formulation and implementation of strategic category plans and sourcing initiatives for designated Indirect Spend categories.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to establish efficient sourcing processes.

• Create bid documentation for RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and various sourcing strategies.

• Direct sourcing events through established milestones.

• Negotiate and oversee commercial contracts including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and more.

• Act as a trusted advisor to category stakeholders, offering strategic insights and sourcing expertise.

• Manage the entire contract lifecycle in collaboration with Legal and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within a mid-to-large organization.

• Experience in managing Indirect spend categories such as operations, logistics, facilities, corporate services, IT, or professional services.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading, mentoring, or developing procurement professionals.

• Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) is preferred.

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Familiarity with eProcurement, contracting, and vendor management systems.

• Experience with ERP, Qlik, Power BI, and SaaS analytics.

• Knowledge of spend analytics, reporting, and dashboarding tools.
