Manager II, SMA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee a cohesive regional team comprising 15-17 Study Management Associates (SMAs).

• Strive for exceptional study execution by fostering an innovative and empowering work atmosphere.

• Manage the performance of direct reports by gathering stakeholder feedback and conducting performance evaluations.

• Facilitate professional advancement and enable growth into future leadership positions through mentorship.

• Support business continuity and organizational objectives through effective resource management.

• Ensure compliance with corporate and divisional policies in accordance with global regulations.

• Play a role in the creation of Quality Systems Documents (QSDs) and the training curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in a healthcare or scientific discipline.

• At least 8 years of experience in clinical research is necessary.

• A minimum of 6 years in relevant study operations management and people management experience.

• At least 3 years of direct experience in people management.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities are essential.

• Experience in drug development and clinical operations, including an advanced understanding of ICH and GCP guidelines.
