This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Drive the growth of the Managed Medicaid channel by fostering relationships with Managed Medicaid, AAA, CBO, PACE, and state case management agencies.
• Focus on assisting health plan and agency partners in successfully implementing Medically Tailored Meal programs through effective account management.
• Enhance understanding of referral pathways by guiding field-based team members.
• Adopt a relationship-driven approach to client interactions, ensuring that Mom’s Meals is acknowledged as a leader in quality, customer service, and nutritional support for individuals with chronic health conditions.
• Manage the IL, IN, KY, and WI territory, requiring travel via company-provided vehicle 50-75% of the time, including 2-3 overnight stays each week.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare sales, particularly in managed care, long-term care, home health, home care, hospital, or medical equipment fields.
• Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare benefit programs is essential.
• Proven experience in consulting and presenting to care providers serving high-risk member populations.
• A genuine passion for helping others is crucial.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities are necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce or other similar sales software.
• A solid background in Medicaid/Medicare and Managed Care organizations is essential.
• Clinical credentials in Social Work, Nursing, or Nutrition, with the ability to convey the critical role of medical nutrition in reducing healthcare costs for this high-risk demographic.
• Knowledge of and connections within the specific regional market, along with experience in Medicaid service provision.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% of the time for both day and overnight trips, regionally and nationwide, with the flexibility to conduct virtual meetings when necessary.
