Manager, Financial Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the preparation, review, and finalization of SEC filings.

• Create new disclosures in accordance with US GAAP standards.

• Generate financial statements along with the statement of cash flows.

• Manage the quarterly reporting cycle effectively.

• Serve as a point of contact for external auditors.

• Perform research on peer disclosures.

• Support monthly accounting closing activities.

• Provide mentorship to junior accounting personnel.

• Enhance SEC reporting processes for efficiency.

• Maintain and improve internal control systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressively responsible accounting experience.

• At least 4 years of hands-on SEC reporting experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Active CPA license is highly preferred.

• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP.

• Proficient in SEC reporting tools such as Workiva and Intelligize.

• Familiarity with ERP systems (like Oracle Fusion) and Excel.

• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
