Manager, Finance Systems and Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Serve as a Finance subject matter expert (SME) for projects and enterprise initiatives related to SAP S/4HANA.

• Work collaboratively with IT and business stakeholders to ensure accurate capture and implementation of finance requirements.

• Assess new SAP capabilities and enhancements for potential integration within finance functions.

• Foster robust working relationships with finance leaders and subject matter experts to align on priorities and deliverables.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the successful execution of SAP-related projects, including testing, training, and change management support.

• Develop and contribute to documentation, training materials, and user support strategies to improve system adoption and effectiveness.

• Lead workshops for requirement gathering and conduct meetings with stakeholders and partners.

• Analyze current finance processes and systems to pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

• Work alongside stakeholders to establish and implement future-state requirements in line with SAP best practices.

• Assist with financial data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities as necessary.

• Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls during system changes or integrations.

• Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure that technical solutions fulfill business needs.

• Coordinate closely with Finance, IT, and various business units to support the execution of project deliverables.

• Engage in workshops, working sessions, and issue resolution meetings.

• Provide documentation and assist with training efforts for affected teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial systems, including experience with system implementations or enhancements.

• At least 2 years of experience supporting SAP ERP projects or systems.

• Proven ability to execute tasks within cross-functional projects.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Solid foundation in Finance, Accounting, and internal controls.

• Experience with SAP ERP systems, specifically SAP S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with PowerBI or related technologies.

• Exposure to Agile, hybrid, or waterfall project methodologies.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams.

• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate change initiatives.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the capacity to navigate complex systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent years of professional experience may be considered.

• Certifications in SAP S/4HANA Finance or similar areas are a plus.
