This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee the Experience Rating Refund (ERR) functions and lead the team to guarantee adherence to contract provisions, fulfillment of fiduciary responsibilities, maintenance of effective controls, and timely delivery of accurate experience reports.
• Provide guidance and supervision for ERR activities and the ERR team to create and sustain efficient workflows that ensure timely and precise delivery of experience reports while adhering to all established controls.
• Review and authorize experience reports generated by team members to ensure compliance with contractual provisions regarding alternative funding arrangements.
• Act as the Administrator of ERR-supported source systems and carry out routine reconciliation and analysis of data across various systems.
• Investigate inconsistencies and implement necessary corrections to ensure accurate processing of refunds and retro premiums.
• Examine and verify alternative funding agreements, amendments, and renewal letters.
• Lead initiatives focusing on processes and technology to enhance productivity, achieve cost savings, and improve quality.
• Establish training and cross-training goals for the team to ensure operational effectiveness and continuity.
• Offer consultative services to both internal and external clients as a reliable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the ERR domain.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and deliver analytical accounting and system support as required to fulfill business requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline.
• 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience with a focus on reporting, system reconciliation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (required).
• Prior experience with Power BI, SAS, and Python (preferred).
