This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Develop strategic approaches tailored to specific industries and accounts, managing the pipeline effectively to enhance forecast accuracy and achieve team targets.

• Accompany team members during client meetings to coach them on how to identify core customer challenges and articulate the value of the Tailor Platform. Standardize personal sales techniques to elevate the overall closure rates within the organization.

• Proactively create opportunities for customer engagement and expand relationships. Identify champions and build strong connections with clients.

• Design a structure that utilizes internal resources to advance projects as a cohesive team.

• Collaborate with product development, engineering, and marketing teams based on customer feedback to lead product evolution and lead acquisition initiatives that align with market needs.

• Recruit exceptional sales talent and foster an organizational culture that embodies Tailor's values.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in managing a sales team or a strong commitment to mentoring junior team members as a leader.

• Proven track record of closing deals in the range of tens of millions to hundreds of millions of yen in enterprise software.

• Experience in selling complex enterprise products with intricate explanations and decision-making processes.

• Ability to collaborate closely with customer executives and key stakeholders, such as CxOs and Lines of Business.

• Strong business development skills and strategic thinking capabilities.

• Leadership and project management skills with a proactive approach.

• Proficiency in Japanese at a business level or higher.
