Manager, Donor Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• The Donor Development Manager aids the Executive Director and/or Director of Donor Development in establishing March of Dimes as a frontrunner in maternal and child healthcare within the designated market, as well as in fostering effective partnerships and collaborations with corporations, foundations, community and corporate leaders, government officials, other community organizations or nonprofits, and supporters.

• Responsible for developing and nurturing a portfolio of donor relationships and engaging supporters in ways that drive mission impact and enhance overall revenue growth through fundraising initiatives.

• Collaborates to implement year-round fundraising campaigns and core event strategies through the leadership, engagement, empowerment, and mobilization of volunteers.

• Utilizes constituent relationship management systems to streamline the management of revenue streams through analytical reporting to assess and execute tailored strategic plans.

• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute effective fundraising campaigns and events.

• Experience with peer-to-peer campaigns.

• Proven track record in cultivating and securing major and planned gifts.

• Proven success in forming and securing corporate partnerships.

• Demonstrated ability to foster relationships across diverse sectors, communities, and levels to ensure mission alignment and reach.

• Proven success in recruiting and retaining high-level volunteer leaders and board members.

• Experience in creating content for social media and email marketing, utilizing these platforms to enhance donor engagement.

• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
