This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist the Executive Director and/or Director of Donor Development in establishing March of Dimes as a frontrunner in maternal and child health care.
• Forge partnerships and collaborations with corporations, foundations, community and corporate leaders, government officials, community organizations, nonprofits, and supporters.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of donor relationships.
• Mobilize supporters to enhance mission impact and boost revenue through fundraising initiatives.
• Collaborate on the execution of year-round fundraising campaigns and core event strategies.
• Lead, engage, empower, and mobilize volunteers.
• Utilize constituent relationship management systems and analytical reporting to assess and implement personalized strategic plans.
• Report to the Associate Director, Executive Director, or Director of Donor Development; communicate successes and address challenges.
• Ensure the achievement of revenue goals through donor and prospect relationships, market volunteer leadership, and mission investment leads.
• Translate mission and advocacy into measurable impact and identify supporters' philanthropic interests.
• Engage supporters and expand or initiate mission programs to drive revenue growth and tangible mission impact.
• Implement top-tier fundraising events, attract new supporters and donors, and enhance revenue.
• Maintain and expand a donor revenue portfolio by progressing donors through the donor continuum and identifying new prospects.
• Identify corporate partners and cultivate strategic alliances.
• Maintain a consistent year-round revenue pipeline for events, mission investment revenue, major and mid-level gifts, and planned giving.
• Identify, recruit, and guide volunteer leadership.
• Research and assess revenue growth opportunities.
• Deliver customized donor experiences and mission-driven activations through stewardship plans.
• Provide year-round activation and stewardship opportunities for family teams.
• Update CRM information daily to maintain data integrity.
• Identify, recruit, and nurture qualified volunteer leaders.
• Engage volunteers and advocates year-round across mission impact, fundraising, and advocacy priorities.
• Qualify and activate candidates for volunteer roles on assigned event committees.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute effective fundraising campaigns and events.
• Experience in peer-to-peer campaigns.
• Proven success in cultivating and securing major and planned gifts.
• Proven success in developing and securing corporate partnerships.
• Demonstrated ability to work and build relationships across various sectors, communities, and levels to ensure mission alignment and outreach.
• Proven success in recruiting and retaining high-level volunteer leaders and board members.
• Experience in creating content for social media and email marketing, utilizing these platforms to enhance donor engagement.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
