• Planning and executing a detailed project management plan.
• Propel project advancement, ensuring task completion, milestone accomplishments, and adherence to the overall project timeline.
• Manage resources effectively, understanding team members' workloads and potential constraints, while ensuring optimal utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage in proactive risk management: identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor potential risks, with real-time alerts for critical issues.
• Articulate expectations and foster accountability among team members.
• Address conflicts, encourage collaboration, and inspire teams to work towards shared objectives.
• Oversee multiple challenging and intricate projects, tasks, and resources through efficient organization, prioritization, and time management to achieve stakeholder goals.
• Additional duties encompass documentation and reporting, communication with internal and external stakeholders, change management, and budget oversight.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50% to major RTX US sites (Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience, OR in the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Planview, or similar tools.
• CORE certification or equivalent (e.g., Six Sigma or Change Management) along with project management expertise.
• Familiarity with various project methodologies, including waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies.
