This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Play a pivotal role in propelling our product design strategy forward, leading efforts that improve formulation optimization and overall product quality.
• Direct cross-functional partnerships that question assumptions and prioritize initiatives based on thorough analysis, ensuring they align with wider organizational objectives.
• Shape the direction of senior leadership by providing structured, data-informed recommendations that support medium- to long-term strategic planning.
• Assume responsibility for the product design initiatives program, which includes organizing workshops, managing projects, defining scopes, developing business cases, and maintaining detailed roadmaps.
• Evaluate and prioritize product design choices critically in collaboration with cross-functional teams, focusing on formulation, consumer sensory experiences, and manufacturability.
• Partner with initiative leaders to enhance value propositions, evaluate underlying assumptions, identify risks, and set clear success metrics.
• Create and present concise, decision-ready reports for executive leadership that condense complex trade-offs and strategic recommendations.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Ideally, 5 to 7 years of experience in commercial roles, digital transformation, supply chain management, or strategy development within consumer packaged goods (CPG) firms or consulting agencies.
• Exceptional ability to synthesize intricate information and persuade senior stakeholders with executive-ready presentations that clarify decisions, risks, and subsequent actions.
• Strong analytical skills are necessary to maintain extensive data on SKU volumes, change management, and capacity constraints, which are crucial for project sequencing and resource allocation.
• Proficient in the fundamentals of product design, allowing for the translation of consumer insights into innovative, cost-effective, and manufacturable solutions that enrich consumer experience.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively engaging diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
