This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel significant business results by spearheading impactful and intricate data projects that are in line with strategic priorities.
• Establish and implement the vision for data analytics, ensuring it aligns with the goals and objectives of the company.
• Offer thought leadership by collaborating with teams in Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to convert complex business challenges into scalable analytical frameworks.
• Propose and execute actionable insights that lead to measurable outcomes and enhance key business metrics.
• Act as the organization’s authority on advanced statistical analysis, experimental design, methodology, and financial impact assessments, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Guide the team in executing A/B testing strategies, data modeling, and predictive analytics to drive informed decision-making.
• Conduct root cause analyses for essential business metrics, establishing structured methods to identify and tackle key drivers. Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders and teams to prioritize and implement optimization strategies that foster efficiency and growth.
• Design and deploy automation solutions for analytical processes, such as experimentation readouts and self-service analytics, enhancing scalability and efficiency.
• Foster innovation in reporting and data accessibility to equip stakeholders with real-time insights.
• Lead the creation of high-quality data product requirements, dashboard scopes, and automated reporting solutions.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and other data stakeholders to improve data infrastructure and accessibility.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence engineering teams to advance both immediate data initiatives and the long-term vision for data-driven reporting and metric frameworks.
• Champion the adoption of top-tier analytics tools, methodologies, and governance practices.
• Proactively identify opportunities for enhancement or growth, initiate projects, and guide them to successful outcomes with measurable impact.
• Establish and enhance analytical processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scalability throughout the organization.
• Deliver engaging presentations to cross-functional teams and executive leadership, clearly articulating data-driven insights with precision.
• Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to support strategic decision-making and organizational alignment.
• Oversee a team of Staff Engineers, Staff/Sr. Data Analysts, and Capacity Planning Sr. Manager.
• Telecommuting is permitted in accordance with company policy.
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Professional Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a Lead Data Analyst, Lead Business Analyst, Product Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or in a related role.
• Must possess experience in the following: collaborating directly with executive leadership and product leaders to align analytics with strategic objectives; analytics centered on customer growth, engagement, and lifecycle optimization; ownership and management of data products; proficiency in big data technologies (Redshift, S3, Databricks, Datalakes, and Spark); and expertise in SQL, Python, R, Looker, Tableau, Statistics, Amplitude, Domo, CoreMetrics, Google Analytics, and Excel.
