Manager, Cyber Risk Advisor – Managed Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Cyber Risk Advisors.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and provide continuous coaching.

• Manage daily workload allocation.

• Serve as the main escalation point for technical problems and customer inquiries.

• Collaborate with the Director of Operations for team recruitment and onboarding.

• Identify skill deficiencies and promote developmental initiatives.

• Monitor and report on service-level and individual performance KPI metrics.

• Act as a trusted Cyber Risk Advisor for a designated portfolio of customers.

• Facilitate high-stakes Cyber Risk Advisory sessions.

• Assess customer environments for vulnerabilities and emerging threats.

• Ensure that services lead to quantifiable reductions in attack surface.

• Address escalated customer issues with professionalism.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.

• A minimum of 1–2 years in a leadership, senior advisory, or people management role.

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and cultivate teams.

• In-depth understanding of vulnerability management and security frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO, MITRE ATT&CK).

• Strong grasp of networking concepts (routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs).

• Practical experience with EASM/IASM tools and remediation processes.

• Outstanding communication and advisory abilities.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple customer relationships effectively.

• Familiarity with service delivery processes and operational metrics.
