Manager, Customer Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Drive the achievement of budgeted sales goals for both top and bottom lines across specified customers.

• Oversee direct retail partnerships and manage a well-established Direct Store Delivery (DSD) distribution network.

• Cultivate both branded and private label business within the assigned sales territory.

• Establish and maintain relationships with key natural and specialty retail clients.

• Lead the optimization of the current DSD tortilla distribution network.

• Identify, onboard, and nurture DSD tortilla distribution partners.

• Collaborate with other Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to identify, secure, and capitalize on new business prospects.

• Work alongside the customer team to address challenges, seize opportunities, drive innovation, and tackle pricing issues.

• Manage brokers and third-party partners as required.

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of CHG’s product offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• At least 5-10 years of progressive sales experience in the food or CPG sector, with substantial exposure to natural/specialty retail and/or DSD distribution models.

• Willingness to travel across the country.

• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

• Demonstrated self-starter attitude and proactive approach.

• Experience in trade promotion and broker management.

• Capability to implement effective strategies and plans that achieve budgeted business growth.

• Familiarity and experience within both branded and private label product settings.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, along with strong presentation skills.
