Manager, Culture and Engagement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and implement initiatives focused on employee engagement and culture-building that enhance connection, belonging, trust, and collaboration within a completely remote workforce located throughout the U.S.

• Assist in the creation and execution of culture initiatives that align with Trevor’s mission, values, and objectives for employee experience.

• Design and organize inclusive employee programs, engagement opportunities, and community-building activities that cater to various schedules, time zones, operational settings, and employee demographics.

• Promote a culture of trust through mindful communication, responsiveness, relationship-building, and employee engagement practices.

• Oversee employee recognition programs, celebrations, cultural moments, and organizational engagement activities throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Aid in developing scalable practices for employee experience that enhance retention, connection, and organizational culture.

• Collaborate closely with affinity groups and employee communities to enhance engagement, participation, sustainability, and organizational support.

• Evaluate engagement data, employee feedback, participation trends, and organizational insights to identify areas for improvement, including insights related to employee wellbeing, burnout risks, workforce connection, and engagement among union and non-union employee groups.

• Work collaboratively with Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Internal Communications, and organizational leaders to foster a connected employee experience.

• Manage logistics, communications, scheduling, vendor relations, and operational support for culture and engagement initiatives as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting employee engagement, organizational culture, employee experience, inclusion initiatives, ERGs/affinity groups, learning & development, or similar People functions.

• Proven experience in leading or coordinating employee engagement initiatives within remote or geographically distributed organizations.

• Experience in supporting affinity groups, employee communities, ERGs, or programs focused on inclusion.

• Strong project management, event coordination, and operational execution capabilities, with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and initiatives.

• Experience in administering or supporting employee engagement surveys and translating results into actionable recommendations.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across diverse employee groups and levels within the organization.

• Proven ability to cultivate inclusive, welcoming, and community-oriented employee experiences.

• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and sound judgment.

• Ability to thrive in collaborative, evolving, and mission-driven environments.

• Professional proficiency in both spoken and written English.

• Experience in supporting employees across various schedules, crisis support services, operational environments, union or partially unionized workforces, or 24/7 organizations is preferred.

• Cross-cultural or global organizational experience is advantageous, especially in organizations operating across multiple countries or regions.

• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
