This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Evaluate Requests for Proposal (RFP), develop proposals, conduct proposal reviews and coordination, engage in negotiations, execute contractual agreements, and manage general contract administration.
• Spearhead change management initiatives such as Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) from directed change through negotiation and award.
• Analyze estimate at completion (EAC).
• Collaborate with the Contracts Lead, Program Directors, Senior Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Proposal Manager, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to formulate, submit, and negotiate pricing proposals.
• Assist in program management and execution reviews.
• Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions adhere to company policies.
• Deliver effective contract management to fulfill customer commitments, achieve company goals, and comply with organizational policies.
• Offer guidance on contractual and business matters, advising stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations and potential mitigation strategies for contractual/program risks.
• Analyze and comprehend cost structure estimates regarding labor, materials, equipment services, production expenses, performance requirements, and delivery timelines to ensure precision and completeness.
• Mentor and coach fellow Contracts team members.
• Recognize, mitigate, and facilitate the resolution of contractual issues as they arise.
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. Government contracts governed by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS).
• Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks across various programs.
• Experience with Firm Fixed Price Development contracts, contractual risk mitigation, and change management.
• Knowledge in contract and financial structures, including pricing strategies, policy and procedure, and compliance principles.
• Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
