This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the implementation of organization-wide compensation strategies that align with corporate objectives and the needs of the healthcare workforce, while also acting as a consultant to HR and executive teams regarding compensation philosophy, market competitiveness, pay equity, and employee retention.

• Lead and mentor members of the compensation team, providing guidance on various compensation initiatives, and develop policies, procedures, and governance frameworks related to compensation.

• Direct compensation-related projects such as restructurings, reorganizations, and system implementations, delivering compensation recommendations and analyses to leadership and compensation committees as required.

• Create and manage salary structures, pay grades, and job architecture frameworks, as well as conduct market pricing and benchmarking for clinical, non-clinical, leadership, and executive positions.

• Ensure uniform application of compensation programs across various departments and locations, and assess both internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation practices.

• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team on compensation proposals and recruitment strategies, while also overseeing annual compensation planning activities, which include annual pay increases and market adjustments.

• Develop and manage short-term and long-term incentive programs that are aligned with both organizational and individual performance, as well as establish bonus structures for leadership, physicians, clinical staff, and operational teams when applicable.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, healthcare administration, or a related discipline is required.

• A minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in compensation is required, with a preference for candidates who have healthcare industry experience.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a leadership or people management role is preferred.

• Familiarity with Workday HRIS systems and compensation software platforms is necessary.

• Extensive knowledge in compensation program design, salary structures, incentive plans, and market analysis is essential.

• Experience managing compensation programs in the healthcare sector for both clinical and non-clinical populations is required.

• Advanced analytical and financial modeling capabilities are a must.

• Strong understanding of compensation regulations and compliance requirements is essential.
