• Collaborate closely with dedicated main house wholesalers, fostering a strategic relationship at a higher tier within the wholesaler organization.
• Employ a strategic, forward-thinking approach to enhance AB’s role and visibility with wholesalers in your designated market.
• Support wholesalers while spearheading commercial ownership and strategic oversight of the annual business plan.
• Cultivate strong business relationships with key wholesalers and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between company and customer objectives.
• Develop strategies to advance Anheuser Busch's commercial priorities and achieve results.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director, TMM, and other internal teams alongside wholesaler teams on all matters and sales opportunities, including merchandising, marketing, sales, ride-along initiatives, and other pertinent plans/actions in the market.
• Communicate results, priorities, and programs on a weekly/monthly basis with the Wholesaler and Commercial Director.
• Manage POCM: assist in distributing POCM to branch satellites, inform the sales team when new POCM is available, and oversee the storage and inventory of POCM.
• Oversee the development of the Commercial plan, Wholesaler Joint Business Plans (WJBP), and critical Commercial processes, including but not limited to: Pricing strategy development and price increase sell-in, Cents per case audits, and Forecasting Reviews.
• Handle end-to-end Wholesaler Management and relationships, including Wholesaler planning & performance routines/meetings (innovation, channel, and non-alc), Trimester planning & strategy implementation, and AOE & WEA assessments.
• Supervise and take ownership of the Sales, Share, and Financial performance for dedicated main house wholesalers.
• Provide routine updates through Sales Performance Reviews with senior management.
• Analyze market dynamics and industry-specific trends to generate new insights and solutions that drive results and facilitate future growth.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of and ability to utilize tools available for providing strategic oversight of the business: IRI, CSR, Business Objects, VIPR, RMIS, etc.
• Support and manage pilot projects on an ad-hoc basis.
• Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
• Must reside in Northwest, Ohio.
• 3+ years of Sales and/or Marketing experience, ideally in the beverage or consumer packaged goods sector.
• Capability to comprehend and develop strategic directions and plans to achieve results.
• Strong internal and external customer service and communication abilities.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with employees, customers, and all external partners.
• Ability to excel in a highly competitive and dynamic work environment, demonstrating exceptional time management skills.
• Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to influence and negotiate with partners.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, syndicated data, and internal system tools.
