This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the Study Abroad Advisor team by providing coaching, mentoring, and facilitating staff success, which includes conducting annual performance reviews and assisting in goal setting.
• Assist Study Abroad Advisors by equipping them with the necessary knowledge, tools, and strategies to achieve or surpass enrollment objectives.
• Deliver updates on the team’s progress toward goals utilizing CRM systems, ad hoc reports, and additional resources.
• Schedule and lead weekly meetings with the team and individual staff members.
• Regularly assess internal processes and student evaluation results to guarantee exceptional customer service throughout the application process.
• Collaborate closely with various internal departments, such as Billing, Institutional Relations, Marketing, Academic Affairs, IT, and international teams to devise recruitment, marketing, and application conversion strategies.
• Serve as the Enrollment department liaison for key sending institutions.
• Engage in special projects and strategic initiatives, including in-office visa processing and supporting mission-driven programs.
• Oversee the hiring and training processes for new staff members.
• Cultivate a positive, growth-oriented environment for team members, encouraging innovative thinking.
• Always demonstrate sound professional judgment and address issues and inquiries from students, parents, and CIEE staff promptly.
• Represent CIEE with integrity, accuracy, and in alignment with its mission.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Proven management or strong leadership experience is essential, including the ability to guide a team toward achieving its goals and objectives.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service-oriented role is necessary; a demonstrated interest in education abroad or higher education is preferred.
• International study or work experience is mandatory.
• Capability to plan and manage multiple tasks and priorities concurrently, even under tight deadlines.
• Quick learner with the initiative to suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and the adaptability to respond swiftly and appropriately to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Proven track record of achieving sales or enrollment targets is highly preferred.
• Strong service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and fairly.
• Must exhibit empathy and composure in phone and email communications.
• A team player and self-starter capable of exercising sound judgment regarding time management and handling sensitive information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM system is preferred.
• Must be comfortable learning new databases and technologies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally in support of programming.
