Manager, Coding

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for designated clients, coders, and various stakeholders.

• Oversee both onshore and offshore coding teams, managing payroll and task delegation.

• Track workload and staff productivity to ensure compliance with SLAs and other contractual commitments.

• Aid in the development and expansion of coding services, including the recruitment and onboarding of personnel.

• Conduct or supervise coding, quality assessments, and additional middle revenue cycle functions.

• Actively perform, supervise, engage in, and suggest procedural enhancements and operational modifications to boost efficiency and client relations.

• Compile and deliver weekly reports to relevant internal and external parties.

• Prepare business status updates and present them to clients.

• Ensure the appropriate alignment of coding personnel in accordance with project objectives and goals.

• Guide and educate internal coding team members.

• Develop, uphold, and enforce standard operating procedures for the department.

⛳️ Requirements

• AHIMA/AAPC Credentials.

• A minimum of five years of coding experience.

• At least three years of experience managing employees and clients in a remote setting.
