This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of clinicians, which includes hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
• Collaborate with Clinical Science and leadership to evaluate clinician resource needs and guarantee adequate coverage across studies.
• Assist in workforce planning, forecasting, and clinician utilization to meet the demands of various studies.
• Work alongside HR to recruit and hire clinicians who meet study requirements and timelines.
• Partner with IT and Human Capital Management to ensure effective onboarding and readiness for training.
• Identify training requirements and aid in the development of individual performance and training plans.
• Oversee the development of SOPs, process improvements, and quality control measures throughout the department.
• Monitor and analyze operational reports and metrics to enhance efficiency and promote continuous improvement.
• Support Business Development initiatives by providing input for bids as necessary.
• Collaborate with Finance and vendors to manage clinician payments, budgets, and financial commitments.
• Supervise time tracking, PTO approvals, and resolve operational or system-related challenges.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• May perform clinician duties as required.
• A graduate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical trials, research, or clinical environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and/or treating patients, preferably in psychiatric, neurocognitive, or related areas.
• Previous supervisory experience of no less than 2 years, which includes hiring and team management.
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a matrix environment.
• Strong project management capabilities and a proven ability to meet objectives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is preferred.
