Manager, Clinical Information Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Administer and provide support for Microsoft 365, end-user devices, and enterprise technology platforms.

• Collaborate with the Managed Services Provider (MSP) to provision, deploy, maintain, and oversee the lifecycle of laptops, workstations, and peripheral devices.

• Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions across Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and associated systems.

• Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes by provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, devices, and system access.

• Act as a super user for clinical information systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR).

• Create and maintain user guides, process documentation, and support materials.

• Provide Help Desk support and troubleshooting assistance for clinical staff.

• Generate recurring reports on key performance indicators and develop ad hoc reports to meet organizational needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related role.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record Systems (preferably Cerner).

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft products.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of privacy and security practices, including HIPAA compliance.

• Experience in behavioral health or community health systems is a plus.

• Background as a Veteran, Military Spouse, or experience within the veteran community is an advantage.

• Moderate travel requirement (30%).
