This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contributing to the formulation and advancement of the overall strategy for Ensemble Coding Operations.
• Supporting all client coding customer service operational processes and workflows, which include, but are not limited to, onboarding new clients, enhancing provider clinical documentation, aiding operational coding processes, and managing customer coding relationships.
• Analyzing client policies and procedures, suggesting modifications as necessary, and providing pertinent feedback.
• Assisting the Director of Coding Integration in overseeing and implementing operational planning, service commitments, workflow processes, and internal controls for Coding Operations.
• Establishing the ethos of Coding Operations as a service-oriented organization, consistently striving to understand, meet, and surpass customer expectations and requirements.
• Defining clear goals and objectives for team members to promote operational excellence and encourage problem-solving initiatives.
• Ensuring that direct reports, customers, and stakeholders comprehend and adhere to policies, practices, and procedures.
• Collaborating with practice Leadership teams to offer coding direction and advice, enhancing transparency and efficiency in coding processes.
• Working closely with PRC Coding Operations to promptly identify and address client issues, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Promoting active engagement of client leadership in coding reporting with physicians, fostering transparency and cooperation.
• Maintaining strong working relationships with client leadership and providers, acting as a liaison between Ensemble PRC Coding Operations and practice management.
• Supporting strategic initiatives aimed at improving working relationships with clients by participating in committee meetings and strategic updates.
• Proactively handling operational challenges within practice operations and coding teams, ensuring prompt resolution and effective communication.
• Contributing to innovation and knowledge-sharing within Coding Operations by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Involved in delivering coding training and educational programs for physicians and client leadership, promoting continual improvement.
• Assisting in the performance review process for direct and indirect reports, encouraging professional development and organizational success.
• Developing curriculum and training handbooks while creating and delivering presentations to coders, auditors, physicians, and other support staff.
• 5-7 years of coding experience.
• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in Coding.
• Proven experience in developing educational materials, delivering presentations, and facilitating training for coding professionals, providers, leadership, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience in large organizations is preferred.
• Consulting or demonstrable experience in process reengineering and project management is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites (estimated 20-40% travel).
• Proficient in PC skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to navigate multiple EMR systems (Meditech, AllScripts, Cerner, Power Chart, Epic).
