This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Act as the main contact for overseeing the daily operations of Legal Management services.
• Supervise the litigation professional team to ensure compliance with litigation management and billing guidelines, as well as panel protocols from law firms and vendors.
• Oversee the processes related to law firms concerning invoices, E-Billing vendors, and claims staff, serving as a bridge between these entities.
• Assign tasks, coordinate activities, and address inquiries related to law firm and E-Billing vendor operations, including compliance with litigation management and billing standards, as well as the suitability of staffing adjustments by law firms.
• Serve as the key contact for communication and information dissemination to managers regarding E-Billing vendors and their billing platforms.
• Support or delegate inquiries from staff colleagues and claims personnel regarding compliance with litigation management and billing guidelines.
• Assist the Vice President of Claims Litigation Management with projects involving panel vetting, approvals, and reviews.
• Function as a mentor for the Legal Services Group.
• Oversee the collection of reports and metrics related to legal bill review outcomes, expenditures, and performance of law firms and other claims vendors.
• Perform audits on legal bill review services and associated vendors.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is necessary.
• Experience with legal bill review systems is mandatory.
• Strong organizational, management, and project management skills are preferred.
• Experience managing claims litigation involving law firms and/or vendors is preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors at all levels.
