This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversee the client and university partner interactions within the Charter Air department.
• Responsibilities encompass the entire lifecycle from sourcing to collection for charter air transportation.
• Foster mutually advantageous relationships with charter departments at commercial airlines and charter air carriers across various regions in the United States and internationally.
• Manage the relationships, selection, and contracting processes for collegiate and event clients.
• Supervise the Charter Air Coordinators.
• Coordinate charter logistics and communication with Anthony Travel's onsite athletics personnel and Event Managers throughout the organization.
• Ensure that Anthony Travel secures the most competitive rates available in the market.
• Assist in contract management to mitigate risks and enhance revenue for the company.
• Conduct situation analyses and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with charter air liaisons to prepare charters for events and address any customer service concerns.
• Proactively identify solutions to address specific process or business challenges.
• Oversee all facets of the air charter process.
• Ensure client reporting is accurate and consistent with established procedures and policies.
• Set up data and information within travel management systems.
• Enhance customer travel experiences, coordinating with carriers, TSA, airports, and managing flight interruptions.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant business, sales, and charter air management experience is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
• Strong client service orientation and vendor management skills along with effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Experience dealing with Airline Certificates (Parts 121, 125, & 135).
• Solid understanding of ARGUS ratings, airline certificates (Parts 121, 125, and 135), DOT regulations, CFR, Part 212 affinity/single entity, and Part 380/public charters.
• Proven track record of cultivating relationships with existing and prospective clients and partners, leading to financial or other organizational benefits.
• Capability to comprehend and adhere to internal business processes, while recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end travel lifecycle and charter air operations and contracts is advantageous.
• Ability to represent Anthony Travel professionally and effectively, both on the phone and in face-to-face situations.
