This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
• Oversee the various aspects of the client/university partner interaction within the Charter Air department.
• Responsibilities include managing the entire lifecycle from sourcing to collection for charter air transportation, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with the charter departments of commercial airlines, as well as charter air carriers across the United States and globally.
• Effectively handle the relationship management, selection, and contracting processes for our collegiate and event clients.
• Supervise the Charter Air Coordinators.
• Assist in nurturing robust relationships with university partners and collaborate closely with charter air carriers.
• Coordinate charter logistics and communication with Anthony Travel's onsite athletics personnel and Event Managers throughout the organization.
• Ensure that Anthony Travel secures the most competitive rates available in the market.
• Support contract management to minimize risk and enhance revenue for the company.
• Conduct situation analyses and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with charter air liaisons to ensure charters are event-ready and address any customer service matters.
• Proactively identify solutions to address specific process or business challenges.
• Manage all facets of the air charter process, including client reporting, adherence to procedures and policies, data/information setup in travel management systems, and customer travel experience coordination with carriers, TSA, airports, and handling flight interruptions.
• A minimum of seven years of relevant business, sales, and charter air management experience.
• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.
• Strong orientation towards client service and vendor management, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working with Airline Certificates (Part 121, 125, & 135).
• Business acumen regarding ARGUS ratings, airline certificates (Part 121, 125, and 135), DOT regulations, CFR, Part 212 affinity/single entity, and Part 380/public charters.
• Proven track record of building relationships with existing and potential clients and partners, leading to financial or other advantages for the organization.
• Capability to comprehend and adhere to internal business processes, with a focus on recommending and implementing improvements when feasible.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end travel lifecycle and charter air operations and contracts.
• Ability to represent Anthony Travel professionally and effectively in both phone and face-to-face interactions.
• Collaborate as a team player to establish business processes and achieve team objectives.
• Possess a tenacious and persistent attitude with a proactive and inquisitive mindset.

• Strong project management capabilities.
