Manager, CBO A/R

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Supervises the daily operations of the PPN Central Billing Office concerning the scope and responsibilities of your designated team.

• Collaborates with the CBO Administrator to design, implement, and sustain efficient workflows aimed at optimizing revenue and cash flow while minimizing risks related to coding and billing practices.

• Offers direction, instruction, and support to all members of the PPN CBO team for training and staff development purposes.

• Partners with PPN Practice Managers, providers, and staff to identify and implement necessary process improvements to achieve optimal team performance and productivity.

• Executes all duties with a high degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.

• Provides guidance and direction through independent analysis and conclusions that align with leadership objectives and the Premier Health mission.

• Cultivates and maintains positive relationships with employees, peers, PPN staff, and leaders to ensure our customers receive the level of service required to build confidence and trust in the network and with our providers.

• Effective recruitment, development, and management of team members is a critical aspect of the CBO A/R Manager role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a High School diploma or equivalency certificate; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.

• At least 3 years of experience in medical billing and/or coding is required.

• Prior management experience and/or a minimum of one year of employment within the PPN CBO is necessary.

• A strong understanding of the Physician Revenue Cycle is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of third-party billing regulations and CPT/ICD coding guidelines is required.

• Demonstrates competency in routine CRT/data entry tasks.

• Possesses working knowledge of spreadsheet applications.

• Must exhibit strong communication and decision-making abilities.
