Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Directly report to the executive team during consulting assignments for clients focused on financial risk management.

• Oversee a small group of professionals, which will include both our staff and client resources during customer engagements.

• Identify, plan, coordinate, and verify deliverables for customer engagements, assigning team members to specific tasks.

• Ensure that project-related data and information are managed according to our standards, adhering to strict budget and time constraints.

• Collaborate with business unit and IT sponsors to set project objectives, criteria for success, and conduct risk assessments.

• Manage approved funding in conjunction with business sponsors and IT.

• Work alongside architecture team members to ensure that solutions align with the overall IT strategy and data governance.

• Organize the coordination necessary for successful project delivery across various IT teams.

• Develop and manage realistic and credible project plans with buy-in from all involved resources and business sponsors.

• Provide status reports to stakeholders and facilitate communication among stakeholders and teams, ensuring clarity on goals, priorities, and specific responsibilities for all team members.

• Oversee projects related to major packages for data warehousing, ETL, and reporting systems.

• Collaborate closely with support teams to manage the transition and warranty phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a financial risk consultant role or a similar position.

• Proven ability to apply mathematical concepts using SAS software within a financial services context, demonstrated through 3 years of experience.

• In-depth understanding of financial regulatory standards including IFRS 9, IFRS 17, and CECL, as well as associated accounting practices, acquired over 3 years of experience.

• Solid knowledge of SAS reporting and management modules gained through 3 years of work experience.
