Manager, A&R

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Identify, negotiate with, and onboard the most promising emerging talents and content within the Mexican music industry.

• Support new artists in generating innovative content, which includes songwriting sessions, production, and video shoots.

• Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with industry creatives such as producers, songwriters, engineers, and editors.

• Oversee the quality and relevance of the content produced by our artists, ensuring it aligns with our marketing strategy.

• Introduce new artists and their work to various departments within the company.

• Foster an open and effective communication channel with artist managers in the marketing department to ensure consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in A&R or comparable roles within the music sector, with a specific emphasis on Mexican music.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Mexican music landscape and a strong enthusiasm for scouting new talent.

• Innovative thinker with a growth mindset, consistently eager to acquire new skills and knowledge.

• Enjoys collaborating with others to tackle challenges and achieve successful project results.
