📋 Description

• Lead and oversee a diverse team of Analytics Engineers across various career stages.

• Promote team development and well-being while collaborating to tackle analytical challenges.

• Partner with data solutions managers and the director to guarantee sufficient and sustainable analytics engineering support for all engagements.

• Collaborate with clients to establish data modeling and transformation protocols.

• Evaluate and monitor deliverables, implementing analytics engineering tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Formulate strategies to ensure data quality and consistency across all data products.

• Enhance analytics engineering outputs through internal process evaluations.

• Create data visualization standards and monitor and assess reporting deliverables.

• Promote employee retention, resource management, learning administration, presales, feedback collection, quality assurance, and internal analytics engineering workflows.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and actively engage in developing analytics engineering solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in data transformation tools (e.g., dbt).

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of data modeling methodologies and philosophies (e.g., Kimball, OBT).

• Familiarity with common data integration patterns (e.g., CDC, ELT, etc.).

• Understanding of popular data integration/orchestration platforms (e.g., Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow).

• Experience in mentoring and guiding fellow engineers.

• Proven track record in optimizing resource allocation by evaluating team members' strengths and assigning tasks accordingly, while encouraging skill development.

• Ability to frequently sit at a desk and work on a computer.
