This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of project management, change management, and communication initiatives for AI implementations throughout CHAI, including the procurement of enterprise-wide tools and coordination of rollout processes.
• Foster demand for AI integration across the organization by coordinating the AI Champion network, launching the Community of Practice, and managing the AI@CHAI inbox for ongoing inquiries from staff.
• Develop and oversee CHAI’s training and enablement programs for AI: create educational resources, design learning pathways, coordinate vendor-led training sessions, introduce AI ethics and competency training, and facilitate onboarding for new employees regarding AI.
• Establish and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and user guidelines in collaboration with the Innovation team and IT, encompassing best practices, use case libraries, ethics guidance, and AI standards.
• Organize the AI advisory committee to ensure it operates as an effective governance and decision-making entity.
• Define and monitor adoption metrics and targets, perform quarterly gap and theme analyses, and evaluate the ROI of AI tool usage by comparing time saved to tooling costs.
• A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6–8 years of professional experience, preferably in change management, organizational transformation, learning and development, management consulting, or technology adoption.
• Proven success in promoting the adoption of new tools or methodologies within a distributed, multi-country organization, with a demonstrated ability to ensure lasting change.
• Experience in developing and delivering training programs across a large organization, including the creation of learning materials for audiences with diverse technical backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into clear and accessible guidance for non-technical personnel.
• Familiarity with contemporary AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Superhuman) and a practical understanding of their functionalities and limitations.
• A genuine enthusiasm for the potential of AI within an organization like CHAI, along with a clear awareness of associated risks, including data privacy, staff trust, and responsible usage.
• Experience in formulating organizational policies or governance frameworks and ensuring compliance with them.
• Experience in vendor management, which includes procurement coordination, license management, and maintaining ongoing relationships.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide guidance in environments that lack formal structure.
• A sincere commitment to CHAI’s mission and an understanding of the operational challenges faced by a global health organization working in resource-limited, cross-cultural settings.
