Manager, AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain integrations between the Anthropic Claude platform and enterprise systems utilizing the Claude API and MCP servers.

• Create and oversee MCP server configurations to enhance Claude's functionalities and connect it with internal tools, databases, and external services.

• Construct and refine prompt pipelines, agentic workflows, and automation solutions that address significant business challenges at scale.

• Assess and apply integration strategies for linking Claude to enterprise platforms such as Slack, Microsoft 365, Jira, and internal data sources.

• Diagnose intricate technical problems across the AI stack, from API functionalities to MCP tool execution.

• Produce clean, thoroughly documented code and participate in establishing shared standards for the team's development efforts on Claude.

• Evaluate and iterate on AI workflows to enhance reliability, performance, and output quality.

• Keep abreast of updates to the Anthropic platform, new model features, and the evolving MCP ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related technical field.

• More than 2 years of experience working with Python and/or JavaScript, along with practical experience in building and consuming APIs.

• 1-2 years of experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP), including the development or configuration of MCP servers and tools.

• 1-3 years of experience with agentic AI patterns, prompt engineering, and utilizing large language models in a production environment.

• 1-3 years of familiarity with the Anthropic Claude platform, including Claude Code and Claude Chat.
