Manager, AI Diagnostics – Market Shaping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement strategies for market shaping on both supply and demand sides to enhance access to AI diagnostic tools in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

• Discover opportunities to enhance the availability, affordability, and sustainability of AI diagnostic products.

• Establish connections with AI and diagnostic companies, offer market insights, outline target product profiles, provide guidance on access terms, and assist with regulatory and procurement processes.

• Aid in negotiations regarding pricing and supply conditions.

• Foster relationships with governmental, multilateral, and non-governmental organizations.

• Create market analyses that inform market-shaping strategies and access negotiations.

• Develop compelling policy, evidence, and financial cases for the adoption of AI diagnostics, encompassing evidence generation, guideline formulation, policy reform, and sustainable financing solutions.

• Support country readiness, product launch, and expansion, including registration, workforce and health systems enhancement, and procurement and supply chain improvements.

• Manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects; create work plans, track program objectives and donor commitments, identify obstacles, and fulfill grant deliverables.

• Contribute to fundraising efforts, donor engagement, proposal crafting, and reporting.

• Enhance institutional capacity and promote knowledge sharing.

• Self-manage and oversee direct and/or indirect reports within a matrixed organization.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the team or senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Public Health, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree, or 10+ years with a Bachelor’s degree.

• Relevant expertise in strategy consulting or a similarly dynamic, results-focused field.

• Ideally, experience in market shaping, global health, and/or medtech.

• Proven ability to manage large projects, including project design and team leadership, with remote collaboration across different geographies and time zones.

• Exceptional qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to develop analyses and presentations for diverse audiences.

• Outstanding diplomatic and interpersonal abilities.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with the capability to work independently with minimal guidance in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Fluency in the English language, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.

• Capability to obtain work authorization in the United States or a CHAI program country.

• Advanced degrees, expertise in AI for health, diagnostics, global health, experience in LMICs, innovative financing, public-private partnerships, commercial negotiations, supplier engagement, and proficiency in additional CHAI program-country languages are considered assets.
