This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Management trainees will participate in a training program designed to prepare them for advancement into management roles.
• They will collaborate closely with senior staff, acquiring techniques and knowledge essential for the effective operation of a branch, department, or team.
• Management Trainees may be tasked with maintaining sales responsibilities for a designated group of customers.
• They will be responsible for delivering presentations and completing evaluations.
• The performance of Management Trainees will be assessed based on their success in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
• Assist with the daily operations of the business.
• Gain an understanding of each role within the company and their functions (for example: branch operations, sales process, leadership planning and organization, etc.).
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Create and deliver presentations.
• Aid managers in completing daily tasks.
• Prepare documents and update records accordingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
• Research methods to enhance profitability or improve operational efficiencies.
• Maintain responsibilities for key accounts.
• Drive revenue growth and associated profits for select assigned Ewing customers and prospects.
• Establish and nurture strong business relationships with customers by conducting visits to achieve area sales objectives.
• Engage in sales development activities, which include (but are not limited to) basic project quoting and various marketing campaigns through telephone, print, and email.
• Address customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
• Actively contribute to personal growth by accomplishing goals on their Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
• Participate in regular performance evaluations.
• Enhance professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Engage in conversations regarding conflict resolution.
• Consistently provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain professionalism in all communications with colleagues, customers, vendors, management, and Field Support Center staff.
• Attend and actively participate in company meetings.
• Read and contribute to company communications, such as Branch Briefs, E-News Alerts, the President’s Message, regional newsletters, etc.
• Promote Ewing's culture and commitment across all business activities.
• Communicate any operational and customer service issues with the branch/department supervisor.
• Collaborate with all relevant departments at the Field Support Center and field personnel.
• Participate in and represent Ewing in relevant regional organizations, associations, and activities.
• Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate great attention to detail.
• Exhibit strong leadership capabilities.
• Display excellent time management skills.
• Maintain a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
