Major Donor Relationship Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Inspire and generate over $2M in annual major gift contributions.

• Personally manage a portfolio of 100–200 major donors who contribute $10,000 or more.

• Establish deep, trust-based relationships that make donors feel recognized, appreciated, and connected.

• Present engaging opportunities for giving, including annual, multi-year, legacy, and asset-based donations.

• Share impactful stories that illustrate how generosity changes lives.

• Identify and develop new major donor prospects that align with our mission.

• Create customized engagement strategies tailored to each donor.

• Represent Mercy Chefs with enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity.

• Travel up to 50% to engage with donors in their communities and experience our mission firsthand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising or development (major gifts preferred).

• Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing ambitious fundraising goals.

• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.

• Experience in managing donor portfolios and utilizing CRM systems.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• A high level of professionalism and discretion.

• Comfort in engaging in faith-based discussions when appropriate.
