Maintenance Project Manager – Latin America

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance and capital improvement projects from start to finish.

• Establish project scopes, timelines, and budgets; track progress and ensure completion within designated limits.

• Request and assess vendor proposals; negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors.

• Supervise contract implementation, ensuring that vendors fulfill scope, quality, and schedule requirements.

• Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budget; escalate any discrepancies as necessary.

• Collaborate with on-site teams, property managers, and administrative personnel to minimize disruptions for residents.

• Manage life safety projects such as fire systems, elevator upgrades, HVAC replacements, and related inspections.

• Direct daily maintenance operations as required, supporting site technicians and Property Support Administrators.

• Keep project documentation organized, including contracts, permits, inspection reports, and closeout paperwork.

• Deliver regular updates on project status to the Director of Maintenance and ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in a residential or multifamily maintenance environment or construction management experience.

• Proven track record in managing life safety systems and routine maintenance operations.

• Experience in managing vendor contracts and ensuring contractors adhere to scope and budget.

• Strong skills in budget management — capable of tracking expenses, managing purchase orders, and reporting on variances.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.

• Experience with property management software (Entrata or similar) is preferred.

• Proficient in English (both written and spoken) — required.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Capacity to work independently and remotely with minimal oversight.
