This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of professionals in machine vision sales.
• Set operational sales objectives and create regional sales strategies.
• Assign tasks to ensure the achievement of territory goals.
• Oversee and manage team budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance metrics.
• Supervise costs, staffing, and operational methods.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the machine vision product range.
• Position the team effectively to outperform competitors.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to formulate and implement operational and company-wide policies.
• Foster a collaborative, team-first culture under the One Zebra initiative.
• Drive the growth of Zebra’s machine vision product line throughout the region.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant partner management sales experience is necessary.
• At least 5 years of experience in machine vision is essential.
• A minimum of 4 years in direct people management is required.
• Candidates must reside within the US Midwest region.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time or as necessitated by business needs.
• Proven experience in managing, supervising, and developing a successful technology sales team, including direct oversight of other sales leaders.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and strategic organizational alignment is necessary.
• Strong knowledge of machine vision, enterprise hardware, industrial automation, or closely related high-tech fields is essential.
• A demonstrated history of leading teams to meet significant regional or territory sales objectives, such as $25 million or more.
• A technical degree is highly preferred.
• Experience in fixed industrial scanning within specified vertical markets is desired.
• Comfort with selling in a highly technical environment and possessing strong technical comprehension is required.
• Ability to develop and lead a team of sales professionals effectively.
• Capability to plan and execute strategic sales initiatives.
• Exceptional time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills are essential.
