Machine Learning Engineer – Governance ML Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take charge of machine learning infrastructure that encompasses serving, evaluation, red-teaming, and ongoing enhancements for governance models.

• Develop the next generation of AI agent infrastructure utilizing Postgres.

• Create low-latency serving, evaluation pipelines, and capabilities for model registry.

• Achieve sub-50ms inference through techniques such as quantization and distillation.

• Establish drift monitoring, shadow deployment, telemetry-to-training pipelines, and workflows for model enhancement.

• Design attack orchestration, scorecards, regression suites, and CI gating for red-team assessments.

• Construct continuous retraining mechanisms, audit-trail dataset curation, and gated auto-rollout protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in professional machine learning software engineering, with practical involvement in LLM-based or agentic systems.

• Extensive experience in production ML serving, particularly with low-latency inference and quantization/distillation.

• Background in evaluation pipelines and model registry.

• Familiarity with red-team/adversarial testing harnesses, including CI-gated regression suites.

• Experience with drift monitoring and shadow deployment.

• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL.

• A security-first mindset and experience in regulated environments.

• Experience in creating auto-retraining loops using production telemetry or audit data is a plus.

• Knowledge of the Model Context Protocol (MCP), tool registries, and agent orchestration patterns is advantageous.

• Development of Postgres extensions in C or Rust, or contributions to the Postgres ecosystem, is a plus.
