This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of AI, product managers, and engineers to create and implement AI-powered security features.
• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models aimed at identifying malicious traffic patterns, bots, and anomalies within web traffic.
• Construct and maintain ML pipelines for data collection, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Primarily utilize Python, leveraging common ML frameworks and data tools to train and enhance models.
• Integrate ML models into real-time security systems, including WAF and behavioral analytics platforms.
• Enhance data quality, feature engineering, and training processes to boost model accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor the performance of models in production and retrain them as new data and threat patterns arise.
• Partner with data, infrastructure, and product teams to ensure that ML systems are scalable and dependable.
• Clearly convey findings and model results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or in a comparable role involving production ML systems.
• Proficient in Python, with experience utilizing ML libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Experience in constructing data pipelines and developing model training workflows.
• Strong understanding of classification, anomaly detection, and behavioral modeling techniques.
• Experience handling large datasets and working with SQL-based data systems.
• Familiarity with deploying ML models in production settings.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
