Macedonian to English OPI/VRI Interpretation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Macedonia.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Understand the specific terminology relevant to the healthcare and medical industries.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or altering content.

• Deliver exceptional customer service during interpreting sessions.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise interpretation of messages.

• Apply established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Demonstrate a willingness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader regularly.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Macedonian".

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is a plus.

• International certifications in the healthcare field are advantageous (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and adaptability to diverse cultures.

• Excellent skills in communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention.
