This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the primary resource for M365 administration support within the client’s environment.
• Conduct daily monitoring, maintenance, and configuration tasks across the M365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and related applications.
• Ensure the M365 services maintain high levels of availability, performance, and reliability.
• Address and resolve escalated incidents, service requests, and issues related to the M365 environment, focusing on Exchange Online while providing support for the entire M365 suite.
• Diagnose complex problems related to mail flow, permissions, distribution lists, resource mailboxes, Teams collaboration and meetings, SharePoint access and permissions, and integrated applications.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Support and internal stakeholders as necessary for complex or impactful issues.
• Work closely with the Service Desk and Deskside Support teams to help resolve end-user issues concerning M365 services.
• Offer guidance, advanced troubleshooting steps, and escalation support for M365-related tickets.
• Engage in knowledge transfer sessions and provide training as required.
• Collaborate with the user provisioning/user administration team to ensure accurate and timely provisioning, deprovisioning, and modification of M365 user accounts, licenses, and roles.
• Ensure that M365 provisioning processes are up-to-date, accurate, and in line with organizational policies and security standards.
• Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for M365 administration activities.
• Develop and maintain Knowledge Base (KB) articles for use by Service Desk and Deskside Support teams, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and consistent.
• Document configurations, changes, and known issues to support continuity and audit requirements.
• Monitor dashboards, service health, and security/alerting tools within the Microsoft 365 admin center for incidents, advisories, and alerts.
• Assist in the planning, testing, and implementation of M365 upgrades, feature releases, and security patches.
• Support compliance with organizational security policies, including conditional access, MFA, and data protection controls as directed by security teams.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing M365 performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Suggest and implement improvements to automation, monitoring, and administrative processes.
• Stay updated on Microsoft 365 roadmaps, new features, and best practices, providing recommendations on adoption.
• Other duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of practical experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator in an enterprise environment supporting over 1,000 users.
• Proven experience in supporting Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and M365 applications in a production setting.
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification (e.g., MS-900 or its successor).
• Associate-level Microsoft 365 Certification (e.g., Messaging Administrator, Teams Administrator, or Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, as applicable).
• Must be eligible to pass a background check.
• Essential Skills Required: Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to respond promptly to customers with a sense of urgency.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
• Highly motivated with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to build new relationships, both individually and in team settings.
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
