This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota.
• Offers field access support services and educational resources to Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
• Engages with all Specialty Pharmacies (SPs) and Closed Door Pharmacies (CDPs) to support products marketed by Neurocrine Biosciences.
• Establishes and maintains the integrity of Neurocrine Biosciences' pharmacy distribution network through vetting activities.
• Delivers access support services, processes, and forms to HCP entities regarding coverage issues.
• Collaborates across functions with field sales, network pharmacies, market access, commercial analytics, and operations.
• Oversees processes and suggests new strategies to enhance workflow.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field AND a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience in pharma/biotech, including at least 2 years in specialty pharmacy/market access.
• Experience with specialty products, preferably in the CNS area.
• Previous roles in other functions within pharma/biotech are advantageous.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred with at least 4 years of related experience.
• Alternatively, a PharmD or PhD with a minimum of 2 years of related experience is acceptable.
• Possesses knowledge of best practices in the functional area and an understanding of related business disciplines.
• Strives to enhance tools and processes within the functional area.
• Establishing a reputation within the company regarding the area of expertise.
• Capable of working as part of and leading multiple teams.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and the ability to guide lower-level and/or indirect teams.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking abilities.
• Understands the broader organizational impact across multiple departments/divisions.
• Capable of meeting various deadlines across multiple projects/programs with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong project management skills and experience in a cross-functional environment managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of success in cross-functional teams.
• In-depth understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care, pharmacy benefit managers, and government payers, and their influence on product access.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient support programs, including reimbursement support and financial assistance adherence programs.
• Solid understanding of the prescription adjudication process.
• Ability to articulate payer coverage criteria and prior authorization processes.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 60% (travel involves working with field sales, attending business meetings, industry events, and engaging with key customers).
